Down Survey of Ireland: IRLOGI Research Award Winner
Adam worked with the project team in Trinity College Dublin to design the custom graphic interface for this extraordinary, interactive atlas of 17th-century Ireland. Following its launch, this historical humanities resource has generated an unprecedented level of interest and engagement with users.
The Irish Organisation for Geographic Information (IRLOGI) is the umbrella organisation for the geographical information industry in Ireland.
“This is a new kind of knowledge. It is not a product but a process. It consists not of conclusions but of an open-ended invitation to explore. And it does not separate the idea of research from the idea of communication. Every aspect of the project is about research and about the making public of the documents, tools and methods through which this research can be done.”
