Language and ITB worked closely to establish a tone and structure for their new identity system. The copy platform is based on telling the story as it is; the who, why, what and where of life at ITB for school leavers and continuing education students alike.
The design system acknowledged that ITB, was under construction and that the process of its development was ongoing and acknowledged people’s (staff, students) active role in the making of ITB. Copy style accurately reflected ITB’s positioning and the tone of the design system. This was developed through student profiles/reportage, on-campus features (short vox pops with people from ITB telling their stories in their own words), showcases of student achievements and the establishment of a colour coding system for the different disciplines which worked across print, screen and digital media.
